Now that I have decided to venture in the path of designing my own wheelchair (S) hopefully be successful, I have the main task now of deciding what materials to use.
Most chairs are made with titanium and aircraft grade aluminum, I want to move away from traditional, And Now I am looking at what types of metal to use.
Once that is established then I can design the frame, back rest, and seating, I already have a design in my head.
And then attempt to patent any ideas I have, oncve the patents have been approved, then I can look at designing a prototype, which then I need to have access to engineering equipment, to be able to bend metal, mould it, wield, things like that.
I will take some course maybe, if any exist, to verify my skills.
